Horseshoe Bend Campground is a year-round facility located in Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area near Lovell, Wyoming. The campground features 68 total sites accommodating both RVs and tents, with options ranging from small RV sites to larger sites that can handle big rigs with vehicles and boats. Twenty-eight sites offer utility hookups with electricity available year-round and water guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day (weather-dependent availability otherwise). Three pull-through sites provide convenient access for larger rigs. All campsites include a fire pit and picnic table. Modern flush toilets are available seasonally, along with an RV dump station and potable water. The campground operates on a mostly first-come, first-served basis, with 5 sites available for reservation online only. A seasonal camp store provides supplies, and a host is on-site during peak season. Recreational opportunities abound with Horseshoe Bend Marina, boat ramp, swim beach, and picnic areas less than a mile from the campground via hiking trail. The campground operates with a 14-night limit within any 28-day period. Fees are charged from mid-April through October, with free camping during the off-season (late October through mid-April) when utilities are not available.

Directions

From the intersection of Highway 14A E and Highway 37, travel north on Highway 37 for 9.7 miles. Look for the sign for Horseshoe Bend and turn right. Continue for 1.4 miles to the campground located on the left prior to the marina.
