Day Use Facilities
This is a day-use area only, not an overnight campground. Picnic shelters and day-use facilities are open during park hours. For overnight camping at Camden State Park, see the Lower Campground, Upper Campground, Horse Camp, or Group Camp.
About
Camden State Park's Day Use Facilities encompass the park's daytime recreation areas, separate from the overnight campgrounds. The facilities include two picnic areas: the north picnic area with an open shelter, and the south picnic area with an enclosed shelter equipped with electricity and a wood stove for cooler weather gatherings. The park features a unique spring-fed swimming pool with a sandy beach, accompanied by a beach building with restrooms and changing rooms. A playground provides recreation for families, while anglers can take advantage of the fishing pier and boat access on Brawner Lake. These day-use areas are distinct from Camden State Park's actual overnight camping options, which include the Lower Campground, Upper Campground, Horse Camp, and Group Camp. Visitors seeking overnight accommodations should reserve sites in one of those designated campgrounds.
