About

Camden State Park Group Campground offers a shaded, riverside setting for organized groups seeking a primitive camping experience in southwestern Minnesota. Located along the Redwood River within the 1,745-acre park, the group camp accommodates up to 50 people in tents and features an enclosed shelter that provides protection from weather and space for group meals and activities. The campground includes a toilet building with running water, multiple picnic tables, and fire rings equipped with grills. The wooded setting along the river provides natural scenery and access to the park's trail system. The main park offers additional amenities including a spring-fed swimming pool and beach, fishing on Brawner Lake, and over 15 miles of hiking trails through the Redwood River valley. Camden State Park operates year-round, though some facilities are seasonal. The group camp requires advance reservations through the Minnesota state parks reservation system.
