Camden State Park Group Campground sits along the banks of the Redwood River in southwestern Minnesota, offering a primitive group camping experience within a primarily wooded setting. The facility can accommodate up to 50 people and is designed for tent camping. Amenities include an enclosed shelter, a toilet building with running water, picnic tables, and fire rings equipped with grills. The group camp is adjacent to the Redwood River and located near the park's south picnic area, providing access to the broader park facilities. Camden State Park features over 10 miles of trails through oak savanna and river valley landscapes, a spring-fed swimming pool with sandy beach, fishing opportunities on Brawner Lake and the Redwood River, and historical sites including the Sioux Lookout. The park's woodlands and river valley setting create a peaceful atmosphere for group gatherings, with mature trees providing shade throughout the camping area.
