About
Daphne Grove Campground is a forested retreat along the South Fork of the Coquille River in the Powers Ranger District of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. The campground features 14 sites suitable for RVs up to 30 feet, each equipped with a picnic table and fire pit. Four vault toilets serve the campground, and a group shelter can accommodate gatherings of up to 25 people. The South Fork Coquille River provides excellent fishing opportunities, with rainbow and cutthroat trout above Coquille Falls, and spring and fall Chinook salmon along with winter steelhead in the lower reaches. Nearby trails include Sucker Creek Trail, Azalea Lake Trail, Coquille River Falls Trail, Elk Creek Falls Trail, and the Big Tree Trail. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis at $10 per night. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and the maximum stay is 14 days. Dogs are welcome but must remain on leash, and campfires are permitted only in developed fire pits.
