Daley Creek Campground

Closed — Closed for the season. Typically operates June through October. Access may be limited in winter due to snow.

About

Daley Creek Campground is a semi-primitive camping area nestled in an old growth forest near the confluence of Beaver Dam and Daley Creeks in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. This small, lightly-used campground offers a peaceful escape with 6 sites divided between tent camping and trailer-friendly spaces. The campground provides basic amenities including picnic tables, fire pits, and vault toilets, but campers should come prepared as there is no potable water available on-site. Following pack-in, pack-out principles, visitors must bring their own water and pack out all trash. The campground sits at an elevation where seasonal access is limited by winter weather. The location offers opportunities for day hiking, fishing, and swimming in the nearby creeks. The old growth forest setting provides shade and a serene natural environment. Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis or by reservation, with a maximum stay of 14 consecutive days.

Directions

From Ashland, follow Dead Indian Memorial Highway 22 miles east and turn north on Forest Road 37. Continue 1 mile to the campground.
