About

Dairy Point Campground is a small, primitive campground located deep in the Fremont-Winema National Forest, approximately 1 hour 20 minutes south of Paisley, Oregon. The campground borders a scenic riparian area along Dairy Creek and features a diverse landscape of ponderosa pines, willows, and native grasses. The campground consists of just five camping sites, making it an ideal destination for those seeking solitude and a quiet camping experience. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire grate. A single vault toilet serves the campground. While the USFS originally mentioned hand-pumped potable water, current information indicates potable water is not available, so campers should bring their own water supply. Dairy Point Campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no fees required. The area offers opportunities for fishing in Dairy Creek, wildlife viewing, and plant observation. Visitors should be respectful of surrounding private lands when exploring the area.

Directions

From Paisley, take Highway 31 north toward Silver Lake and turn left on County Highway 2-08/Mill Street, continuing left on Forest Service Road 33. Continue south on FS Road 33, then turn left on FS Road 28. At FS Road 3426, turn left. The campground will be on the left.
