Coyote Campground is located within Mark Twain State Park, a 2,775-acre park in Monroe County, Missouri. The campground operates year-round and features 31 campsites situated in a wooded area near Mark Twain Lake. Nine of the sites offer electric hookups, while the remaining sites are basic campsites. Campsite pads range from 47 to 66 feet in length, accommodating various RV sizes. During the on-season from April through October, the campground provides modern restrooms with flush toilets, showers, and potable water. In the off-season from November through April, potable water is available at a frost-free spigot near campsite 1 in nearby Badger Campground. The campground includes an amphitheater and an outdoor warning siren for severe weather alerts. All campsites at Coyote Campground are fully reservable through the Missouri State Parks reservation system up to 12 months in advance. Sites may be available on a walk-up basis if not reserved. Weekend reservations require a two-night minimum stay. Camping is limited to 15 days within any 30-consecutive-day period. Pets are welcome on leashes no longer than 10 feet. The park offers a dump station and allows parking of watercraft or ATV trailers off the campsite pad.

Coyote Campground is located within Mark Twain State Park in Missouri. From Stoutsville, head north on Highway 107 for approximately 3 miles, then turn right onto State Park Road and follow signs to the campground.
