About

Badger Campground sits within Mark Twain State Park in Monroe County, offering camping access to one of Missouri's premier fishing and boating destinations. The campground provides 50-amp electric hookups on gravel pads sized between 52 and 66 feet, accommodating most RV configurations. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, grill, and lantern post. The campground operates year-round, though seasonal amenities vary. Showers and running water are available from April 15 through October 31, while restroom facilities operate from March 1 through November 30. During the off-season, vault toilets may be the only available facility. A dump station, laundry facilities, and woodlot are available on-site. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is accessible at the Badger Loop showerhouse. Mark Twain State Park offers over six miles of hiking trails and two boat ramps providing access to Mark Twain Lake. The park is located approximately 20 miles west of Hannibal, Missouri, birthplace of author Samuel Clemens.
