About

Located in the Salt River Hills region of northeast Missouri, the camper cabins at Mark Twain State Park provide a comfortable lodging option with access to Mark Twain Lake. Each of the six cabins in Puma Campground features a queen-size bed, full-size futon, and carpeted loft suitable for sleeping bags. Interior amenities include a compact refrigerator, microwave/toaster oven, dining table, ceiling fan, electricity, heating, and air conditioning. Guests must bring their own linens and sleeping bags. Every cabin has an outdoor porch bench, picnic table, pedestal grill, and campfire grill. Parking accommodates two vehicles plus a boat trailer. A modern central restroom and showerhouse is available within walking distance from mid-April through October; during the off-season, a vault toilet and frost-free hydrants serve the area. Cabin F is ADA accessible. Through the Cabins for Canines program, guests renting Cabin A or F may bring up to two dogs; pets are prohibited in cabins B through E.
