Cottonshed Park is a well-maintained U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground situated on the shores of Millwood Lake in southwest Arkansas. Located off the beaten path near Mineral Springs and Tollette, this quiet facility provides an excellent base for fishing, boating, and wildlife observation. The campground features multiple loops with lakeside and lake-view sites, all equipped with picnic tables, grills, fire rings, and 30/50 amp electrical hookups. Water hydrants are distributed throughout the campground. Modern amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, potable water, and a centrally located sewage dump station. A fish cleaning station serves anglers returning from Millwood Lake, which is renowned for exceptional bass and crappie fishing. The lake features marked boat lanes that navigate through submerged timber and aquatic vegetation, creating prime fishing habitat. Duck hunting is also popular in season. The Cottonshed area is particularly notable for birding, with Millwood Lake supporting over 300 bird species including American Bald Eagles and Great White Pelicans. The surrounding landscape consists of flat lowlands with dense timber and lake views from most campsites. Visitors should be aware that alligators are present in Millwood Lake. Off-road vehicles including ATVs, UTVs, and golf carts are not permitted in the park. Old Washington Historic State Park is located 25 miles northeast.

From Mineral Springs, travel approximately 5 miles south on Highway 355, turn right (west) onto Bright Star Road and travel approximately 3 miles, then turn left (south) onto Cottonshed Lane.
