Ice accumulations between one half inch to 1 inch possible between US Hwy 82 and US Hwy 84, with greatest accumulations in excess of 1 inch possible near the Interstate 20 corridor. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Arkansas, north central and northwest Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, and northeast Texas. * WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to noon CST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Overlook campground is located on Dierks Lake in Howard County, Arkansas, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This facility features a group shelter pavilion with electrical hookups available for reservation. The campground provides access to Dierks Lake's recreational opportunities including fishing, boating, and water sports. The campground is part of the Dierks Lake project, which offers multiple recreation areas around the reservoir. As a group facility, it is designed primarily for gatherings and group camping rather than individual family campsites. The location provides scenic views overlooking the lake in a wooded setting characteristic of the Ouachita Mountain region of southwestern Arkansas.

Directions

From Dierks, Arkansas, drive west on Highway 70 for three miles to Lake Road. Turn right on Lake Road and continue for four miles to reach the Dierks Lake Overlook.
