Saratoga Park is a beautiful, quiet campground located on the east side of Millwood Lake in southwest Arkansas. The park is situated in a dense grove of hardwood trees within walking distance of the Blackland Prairie, offering shaded campsites with scenic views looking out across the lake. This serene setting provides an ideal base for outdoor recreation and relaxation.
The campground features 17 paved sites, all equipped with water and electric hookups. Modern facilities include flush toilets and hot showers for camper comfort. Additional amenities include two boat ramps for easy lake access, a fishing dock and pier, a pavilion for group gatherings, and bank fishing access along the shoreline. The park is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as part of the Millwood Lake recreation area.
Millwood Lake is recognized as one of the top fishing destinations in the country, with abundant populations of largemouth bass, catfish, and crappie. The lake's 29,000 acres feature submerged timber, marshes, and oxbow cutoffs that create diverse fish habitat. Duck hunting is also popular in the area. Visitors should be aware that alligators are present in Millwood Lake. The campground is conveniently located approximately 2 miles from Saratoga, Arkansas off Highway 32, with nearby towns including Ashdown, Nashville, and Texarkana.
