Beard's Bluff Park is a well-appointed U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground on Millwood Lake, located 13 miles east of Ashdown, Arkansas. The park features 22 campsites, with 21 offering standard electric hookups (30/50 amp) and one non-electric site. Each campsite includes a picnic table, grill, fire ring, lantern pole, and water hydrant. The campground provides flush toilets and hot showers throughout, along with a centrally located dump station for RV waste disposal. Millwood Lake is renowned for exceptional birding opportunities, and Beard's Bluff capitalizes on this with a dedicated birding observation overlook. Over 300 bird species have been documented in the area, including American Bald Eagles and Great White Pelicans. The campground offers open water access to the lake and Little River, with marked boat lanes navigating through submerged timber and aquatic vegetation that attract anglers and duck hunters. The surrounding landscape features bluffs overlooking the lake and dense mixed forests. A playground provides recreation for families. Visitors should be aware that alligators are present in Millwood Lake. Reservations are available through Recreation.gov.

Beard's Bluff Park is located 13 miles east of Ashdown on State Highway 32. When driving from Ashdown, cross Millwood Dam and take the second left.
