About
Located nine miles east of Interstate 5 on Highway 20, Colusa-Sacramento River State Recreation Area sits on the west bank of the Sacramento River in the heart of the Sacramento Valley. The 14 developed campsites are shaded by mature cottonwoods and willows, each equipped with a picnic table and barbecue stove. Sites accommodate tents, trailers, and motorhomes up to 27 feet. The park is operated by the City of Colusa and serves as a prime destination for anglers seeking king salmon, steelhead, rainbow trout, striped bass, catfish, shad, and sturgeon. A boat launch provides direct river access. Campground facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, potable water, and an RV dump station. Select sites offer water and electric hookups. Two ADA-accessible campsites are available with nearby accessible restroom and shower facilities. Dogs are permitted in the campground and on paved roadways but are not allowed on trails or in day-use areas.
Directions
From Interstate 5 and Highway 20, drive nine miles east to the town of Colusa. The park entrance is north of the intersection of Levee Street and 10th Street.
