About

Colt Creek State Park Campground sits within the 5,067-acre park in the heart of Central Florida's Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve, featuring pine flatwoods, cypress domes, and diverse wildlife including bald eagles, gopher tortoises, and bobcats. The main campground offers 27 full-facility sites with 30- and 50-amp electric, water, and sewer hookups, plus six tent-only sites in a shaded setting. The campground features a modern accessible bathhouse with flush toilets, showers, beverage and snack vending machines, ice and firewood for sale, and pay-per-use washer and dryer. Each site includes a fire pit, charcoal grill, and picnic table. A dump station is located at the campground entrance. Several sites can accommodate large RVs up to 70-93 feet, with pull-through options available at sites 3, 12, 24, 25, and 27. Beyond the main campground, the park also offers primitive backpacking sites accessible only by foot, horseback, or mountain bike, as well as a 20-site equestrian campground with flush toilets and shared water spigots. Glamping options are available through a private concession.
