Withlacoochee At US 41 Dunnellon affecting Marion, Levy and Citrus Counties. .Due to recent heavy rainfall, water levels on Cypress Creek remain elevated. With additional heavy rainfall forecast, water levels are expected to continue rising, and could reach minor flood stage in the next few days. Elevated water levels continue on the Withlacoochee River at Dunnellon due to a combination of excessive hydrilla growth along a 4.5 mile stretch of river between U.S. 41 and Lake Rousseau, and recent heavy rainfall. Water levels are expected to hold steady before slowly decreasing over the next several days. However, the river is forecast to remain in flood stage. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cypress Creek at SR 54 Worthington Gardens. * WHEN...From late Monday night until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Flooding begins at the recreation area on State Road 54. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 7.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late Monday night and continue rising to 8.0 feet early Tuesday morning. River levels are forecast to remain just above Moderate Flood Stage through this weekend and into next week. For the St. Johns River...including Astor...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and is forecast. * WHERE...St Johns River near Astor. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, Water approaches or may enter lowest homes on or near Wildhog Road and nearby canals. Flooding reaches the parking lot of the Juno Trail Apartments. Flooding on portions of Alligator Road and Holiday Road. Lowest lying yards along Blue Creek are flooded. Roads at Astor Landing Campground and Lake Dexter Boat Ramp begin to flood.
