About

Codorus State Park is a 3,500-acre recreational destination in the rolling hills of southern York County, centered around the 1,275-acre Lake Marburg. The campground offers approximately 180 sites accommodating both tents and RVs up to 50 feet, with electric hookups available at the majority of sites. Fifteen tent-only sites provide a more traditional camping experience, while seven ADA-accessible sites with electricity ensure accessibility for all campers. Campers enjoy modern amenities including warm showers, flush toilets, a boat launch, shoreline mooring, and a sanitary dump station. Pet-friendly sites are available for a small fee. The campground enforces a maximum stay of 14 consecutive nights between Memorial Day and Labor Day, with equipment requiring removal for 48 hours before returning. Beyond traditional camping, the park offers cottages that sleep five, a yurt that accommodates four to five, and the Black Rock Lodge available for year-round rental. Lake Marburg serves as a popular destination for sailing, motorboating, fishing, and serves as a rest stop for migrating waterfowl and shorebirds. The park features extensive hiking and mountain biking trails, 54 holes of disc golf, swimming pool access, and equestrian trails. In partnership with Timberline Glamping, eight glamping sites with modern amenities launched in 2026.
