About

CCC Campground lies in the rugged Badlands of western North Dakota within the Dakota Prairie Grasslands. This newly remodeled facility has become a favorite among Maah Daah Hey Trail users, offering direct access to one of the premier long-distance trails in the region. The campground also connects to the Long X Trail and Sunset Trail Loop, making it an ideal basecamp for multi-day adventures. The campground features 25 sites divided into three loops: a tent loop, RV loop, and equestrian loop. All sites include picnic tables, fire rings with grills, and electric hookups ranging from 20/30-amp for tent sites to 20/30/50-amp for RV and equestrian sites. The equestrian loop includes horse corrals, highlines, hitchrails, and manure stations. Bike wash and maintenance racks are available for trail users. The Little Missouri River runs along the northern boundary of the campground, with Theodore Roosevelt National Park just across the water. A seasonal campground host is on-site Thursday through Sunday from mid-May through Labor Day.
