Bennett Campground offers a peaceful camping experience within the Little Missouri National Grassland in McKenzie County, North Dakota. Located 27 miles south of Watford City, this rustic USFS campground features 13 campsites suitable for both tent and RV camping, with parking pads accommodating rigs up to 60 feet in length. Three sites offer pull-through access, while the remaining sites are pull-in/back-in. Each campsite includes a picnic table and a fire ring with a grill. The campground operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Camping fees are $10 per night, payable via fee tube at the entrance. An accessible vault toilet is available during summer months, and a hand pump water well provides potable water from spring through fall. The campground follows pack-in, pack-out rules, requiring campers to remove all trash. A 14-day consecutive stay limit applies. Bennett Campground serves as a gateway to excellent trail systems, with the trailhead for the Maah Daah Hey, Bennett, and Cottonwood trails located just west of the campground. The area is popular for day hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Pets are allowed but must remain leashed within the campground at all times. Fire restrictions may be in effect seasonally, and visitors are responsible for monitoring current conditions.

Located 27 miles south of Watford City. From Watford head 19 miles south on US-85, turn west onto 6th St NW for 4 miles, then turn south to Bennett Creek Campground for 1 mile.
