The Upper and Lower Improved Campgrounds offer 77 sites with full hookups including 20/30/50 amp electric, water, and sewer connections, plus bathhouse access. Four sites are ADA accessible. The primitive camping areas include the 26-site Upper Primitive Campground near Tower Road (Alabama's highest point) and the 28-site CCC Primitive Campground near the lake, both with fire rings and shared water spigots. Primitive campers should note that bathhouse and shower access is not included; shower passes are available at the Mountain Store for $5 per person. A group campground accommodates parties of 9-25 people per site but is winterized from November through March with no water or restroom access. Safari glamping tents are also available for those seeking a unique experience.
