A strong, Arctic cold front will continue across northern Indiana and into northwest Ohio early this morning. Heavy snow showers will accompany this front reducing visibility under one half mile and producing a quick half inch of additional snow accumulation. Westerly winds will gust as high as 35 mph producing blowing and drifting snow. Drivers are urged to use caution and be prepared for rapidly changing visibilities. This front will exit the area by 8 AM.

Chain O'Lakes State Park in Noble County, Indiana, features a large campground set among forested hillsides and nine interconnected kettle lakes. The campground offers 323 electric sites, 49 non-electric sites, 33 primitive sites, 4 rally camp sites, 4 canoe camp sites, and 5 youth tent areas, accommodating a total of 439 sites. Many electric sites can accommodate RVs up to 65 feet with back-in driveways. The park operates year-round and accepts reservations through the Indiana DNR reservation system. Campers can enjoy 23 miles of hiking trails ranging from easy to rugged difficulty, boat launches on five of the nine lakes (electric motors only), a swimming beach, nature center, and historic Stanley Schoolhouse. The campground includes modern amenities such as comfort stations, a camp store, and a dump station. All campsites include fire rings and picnic tables. The park's kettle lakes offer excellent opportunities for paddling, fishing, and wildlife viewing in a serene forested setting.
