About
Canyon Vista Campground offers a forested retreat at 6,826 feet elevation in the Coconino National Forest, just 6 miles southeast of Flagstaff on Lake Mary Road. The setting features ponderosa pine, mixed conifer, aspen, and oak forest with views of the San Francisco Peaks. The campground sits near Walnut Canyon and Lower Lake Mary, providing access to hiking on the Sandy Canyon and Arizona trails. The campground has 14 single-unit campsites available through a combination of reservations via Recreation.gov and first-come, first-served. Each site includes a fire ring with cooking grill and a picnic table. Vault toilets and potable water are provided. There are no showers, dump stations, or utility hookups. A camp host is on-site, and firewood ($10/bundle) and ice ($5/bag) are available for purchase. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., during which generators are not permitted. A 14-day stay limit applies. Senior and Access Interagency pass holders receive a 50% discount on camping fees.
