About
Camp Floyd Stagecoach Inn Group is a day-use group facility located at Camp Floyd State Park Museum in Fairfield, Utah, about 20 miles west of Lehi via Highway 73. The large covered pavilion accommodates groups of up to 100 people for picnics, reunions, and events. The facility includes modern ADA-accessible restrooms, drinking water, and picnic tables. The park preserves the historic site of Camp Floyd, a U.S. military installation established in 1858. Visitors can tour the museum housed in the original Commissary building and the two-story Stagecoach Inn, which served as the first stop south of Salt Lake City on the Overland Stage Route and Pony Express Trail. The historic Fairfield Schoolhouse is also available for rent. Traditional tent or RV camping is not available at this facility. However, special overnight experiences are offered through the Johnston's Army Adventure programs where participants sleep in period military tents and engage in 19th-century military and pioneer activities. These programs require advance reservations and minimum participant numbers.
Directions
