About

Camp Floyd Stagecoach Inn Group offers a large covered day-use pavilion at Camp Floyd State Park in Fairfield, Utah. This group facility can accommodate up to 100 people and is available year-round on a first-come, first-served basis or by advance reservation by calling the park directly at 801-768-8932. The pavilion rental is $100 per day and does not include admission to the museum or Stagecoach Inn. The park is located at a nationally significant historic site where the United States Army, Mormon pioneers, stagecoach travelers, and the Pony Express all converged. Established in 1858, Camp Floyd housed the largest concentration of U.S. troops in the nation at that time, sent to suppress a rumored Mormon rebellion that never materialized. The Army remained for three years before being recalled east for the Civil War in 1861. Today, visitors can explore the park's museum with artifacts and exhibits from this historic period, tour the restored two-story Stagecoach Inn with original period furnishings, and visit the historic cemetery. The park features modern amenities including ADA-accessible restrooms, comfort stations, drinking water, parking, and picnic tables. The park closes at dusk, and museum fees are separate from pavilion rental.
