Camp 9 Group Site #2 sits on the north shore of Lake Isabella, an 11,000-acre reservoir in Sequoia National Forest at approximately 2,600 feet elevation. This reservable group site accommodates up to 35 people and includes a shade shelter, two picnic tables, campfire ring, potable water, vault toilets, and paved parking with a locked gate for security. The campground provides excellent recreational opportunities including swimming, fishing, waterskiing, and boating on the lake. Beach access is available with mobility-impaired accommodations. Additional facilities include a fish cleaning station and volleyball court. An RV dump station is available at the recreation area for $25 per use. Nearby attractions include a motocross track and shooting range. Quiet hours are enforced from 10pm to 6am. ATVs and OHVs are prohibited within the campground.

Directions

From Kernville, go south on Sierra Way/County Road 521, then turn west on the access road to the lake.
