Cadiz Park is a day-use recreation area managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, located on beautiful Lake Barkley near the town of Cadiz in Trigg County, Kentucky. The park provides convenient lake access for boating and fishing enthusiasts, with a boat ramp and paved parking available. The day-use area features a playground, grills, and a reservable group picnic shelter that can accommodate up to 100 guests, making it ideal for family gatherings and group events. Lake Barkley covers 57,900 acres with over 1,000 miles of shoreline, offering excellent fishing opportunities including yellow bass, crappie, and catfish. This is a day-use facility only and does not offer overnight camping. Visitors seeking overnight accommodations should consider nearby Lake Barkley State Resort Park, located approximately 8 miles west of Cadiz, which offers full-hookup campsites.
Directions
From I-24, take Exit 65 (Cadiz). Travel west on KY-68/80 for 6 miles. Turn right onto KY-139 for 1.5 miles, then turn left on Jefferson Street.
