About

Brannon Campground occupies a prime location on the north end of Boysen Reservoir, one of Wyoming's most popular water recreation destinations. The campground features a dedicated swim beach and boat ramp with dock, making it ideal for anglers and water sports enthusiasts. Boysen Reservoir holds walleye, sauger, perch, crappie, ling, rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, brown trout, largemouth bass, bluegill, and catfish. The campground sits close to park headquarters and the Boysen Lake Marina, which operates from May through October and offers supplies and services. A playground provides family-friendly recreation. Sites accommodate both tents and RVs up to 35 feet, with a mix of drive-through, back-in, and tent-only configurations. Boysen State Park spans over 35,000 acres surrounding the reservoir, created by Boysen Dam on the Wind River. The area offers scenic high desert landscapes with dramatic canyon walls and easy access to the Wind River Indian Reservation.
