About

Bluebill Campground is located in the Horsfall Area of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, less than a mile from the Pacific Coast. The 19-site campground is nestled among shore pine, huckleberry, and wax myrtle vegetation, with wind-sculpted sand dunes towering up to 500 feet nearby. Each site features a paved driveway accommodating vehicles up to 41 feet. The campground provides direct access to Bluebill Lake and the 1.2-mile Bluebill Trail loop, making it ideal for anglers and hikers. The Wild Mare Trail offers excellent horseback riding nearby. Amenities include vault toilets, drinking water from a hand pump, campfire pits, picnic tables, and dumpsters. A campground host is available during the operating season. Note that mosquito activity can be high from April through August.
