Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this campground features 61 spacious campsites, with roughly half equipped with 30-amp electric hookups. The campground provides excellent access to Oologah Lake's nearly 30,000 acres of surface area and over 200 miles of shoreline. The Will Rogers Country Centennial Trail begins at Blue Creek Park and stretches 18 miles to the Spillway, winding along the eastern shore. This scenic trail is open to both hikers and horseback riders. The surrounding area features old-growth post oak and blackjack oak forests providing habitat for deer, turkey, rabbits, quail, squirrels, ducks, geese, and doves. The nearby Oologah Wildlife Management Area offers nearly 13,000 acres for hunting. Dog Iron Ranch, the birthplace of Will Rogers, is a nearby attraction featuring a living history museum.
