About
Blackberry Crossing Campground is a unique 26-site campground located six miles west of Conway on the Kancamagus Highway in White Mountain National Forest. The campground sits on the historic site of a 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps camp, and visitors can take a self-guided tour of the old camp within the campground. This primitive campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis and offers basic amenities including hand-pump water and vault toilets. Sites accommodate both tents and RVs, with a paved campground road and dirt back-in sites nestled among the trees. There are no hookups available. The campground's location provides easy access to several attractions. The historic Albany Covered Bridge, originally constructed in 1858, is a short walk from the campground. Outdoor enthusiasts can explore the nearby Nanamocomuck Ski Trail and Boulder Loop hiking trail. Coin-operated showers are available at Jigger Johnson Campground, six miles west on Route 112.
