About

This spacious group campground features 12 camping units designed to accommodate larger parties seeking a forested mountain retreat. The campground sits under a pleasant canopy of ponderosa pine and oak trees, offering natural shade and a classic Arizona high-country experience. The southern end of the campground provides particularly scenic views, while rocky bluffs above nearby Blackjack Cave add geological interest to the area. The setting ranges from open areas suitable for group gatherings to more sheltered spots under the tree canopy. Each camping unit includes a grill for cooking. The campground is situated along the Coronado Trail Scenic Byway, making it an ideal base for exploring this historic route.
