About

Beverly Beach State Park is one of the most popular camping destinations along the Oregon Coast, featuring a large forest-sheltered campground just steps from miles of sandy beach. The 135-acre park is located five miles north of Newport, nestled between Yaquina Head to the south and Cape Foulweather to the north. The campground offers 257 total sites including 53 full hookup sites (27 with cable TV), 76 sites with electric and water hookups, 128 tent sites, and 21 yurts. Nearly half of the RV sites are pull-throughs accessible to rigs up to 40 feet. The park features modern amenities including flush toilets, hot showers, a dump station, laundry facilities, a meeting hall for interpretive programs, and a playground. A convenient underpass allows campers to safely cross beneath Highway 101 to access the expansive beach. The beach at Beverly Beach stretches from Yaquina Head to Otter Rock and is popular for kite flying, beachcombing, fossil hunting, and surfing. The park's creekside setting features giant wind-sculpted trees and nurse logs. Visitors can enjoy whale watching during migration seasons, tidepooling, and exploring nearby attractions including the Oregon Coast Aquarium. The park offers ADA-accessible facilities including six yurts and three campsites, with universal access to communal facilities.
