Devils Lake State Recreation Area campground sits on the west shore of Devils Lake in Lincoln City, making it the only coastal Oregon State park campground located within a city. The campground offers a variety of camping options including tent sites, RV sites with electric and water hookups, and yurts. Devils Lake is a center of summertime activity where visitors can enjoy boating, waterskiing, jet skiing, windsurfing, canoeing, and kayaking. The lake attracts diverse wildlife including coots, loons, ducks, cormorants, bald eagles, and grebes. The campground provides modern amenities including clean restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers (access code required from park staff or host), fishing docks, and boat moorage adjacent to the campground. While campsites do not have direct lake frontage or lake views, a paved trail used only by campers provides quick access to the lake. The beach is a short walk away, and downtown Lincoln City is just minutes from the campground. Note that the campground does not have a boat launch; the nearest public boat launches are located at Regatta Grounds (1 mile north) or East Devils Lake State Recreation Area (3 miles south). Blue-green algae blooms may occur at the lake, most often between April and September.
