About
Belle Isle State Park's campground is located on the scenic Northern Neck peninsula, offering seven miles of shoreline along the Rappahannock River with access to Mulberry and Deep creeks. The 892-acre park provides an excellent base for exploring the tidal marshes, hardwood forests, and historic landscapes of this Chesapeake Bay region.
The full-service campground features 28 sites equipped with electric hookups accepting 20, 30, and 50-amp service, plus water connections. Each site includes a fire ring grill, picnic table, lantern hanger, and 15' x 24' tent pad. The campground accommodates tents, pop-ups, and RVs up to 45 feet. A modern bathhouse provides hot showers, wash sinks for dishes, and laundry facilities.
Recreational opportunities include hiking, biking, and horseback riding on multi-use trails, as well as fishing, crabbing, and kayaking on the river. The park's camp store carries camping supplies, firewood, ice, bait, crabbing equipment, and gifts. Motor boat and car-top launches provide water access for exploring the Rappahannock.
