About

Beaverkill Campground occupies a prime location on one of the most storied trout streams in the Northeast. The Beaverkill flows through the entire developed length of the campground, providing anglers direct access to quality brown and brook trout fishing from their campsites. The adjacent Delaware Wild Forest offers over 33 miles of hiking trails across 27,000+ acres for those looking to explore beyond the stream. The campground features 41 standard campsites and 3 larger family sites that accommodate up to 12 people with multiple vehicles and equipment. All sites include fire rings and picnic tables. Facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, a dump station, and a recycling center. A designated swimming beach provides access to the stream, though swimming is unsupervised. A notable landmark is the historic covered bridge originally constructed in 1865, which spans the Beaverkill on the town road adjacent to the campground. The campground serves as an excellent base for exploring the southern Catskills, with the village of Roscoe nearby.
