Beaver Creek Campground is a small, primitive campground situated on the banks of scenic Beaver Creek within the Klamath National Forest. With just 8 sites, this no-fee campground offers a quiet, uncrowded experience for campers seeking solitude in the northern California mountains. The campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets, picnic tables at each site, and fire rings for campfires (subject to local fire restrictions). There is no potable water available, so campers must bring an adequate supply. Trash service is not provided; all garbage must be packed out. Access is via Forest Road 11, approximately 5 miles north of Highway 96. The campground operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations accepted. Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet and cannot be left unattended.
Directions
From I-5, take Highway 96 west approximately 15 miles to Forest Road 11. Head north on Forest Road 11 approximately 5 miles to the campground on the right.
