About
Bailey's Point campground sits on the 10,000-acre Barren River Lake in south-central Kentucky, surrounded by wooded hillsides. As the largest Army Corps campground on the lake, it offers 215 sites spread across five distinct camping loops, each with its own character and many featuring direct waterfront access. Private coves throughout the campground provide secluded spots for swimming or mooring your boat. The campground provides excellent facilities including bathhouses with flush toilets and showers, a dump station, and laundry services. Most sites are equipped with electric and water hookups, accommodating RVs up to 64 feet. Recreation options abound with two playgrounds, sand volleyball and basketball courts, an amphitheater hosting weekend movie nights, and a boat ramp for fishing and water skiing. Hikers can explore the C.E. Rager Nature Trail along the shoreline or the Robert Foster Hiking Trail showcasing Kentucky's diverse tree species. Keep an eye out for the resident white squirrel.
