Lake Chicot State Park Campground is situated on the shores of Arkansas's largest natural lake and North America's largest oxbow lake. The campground features 122 campsites set in a scenic pecan grove, offering a range of accommodations from Class AAA sites with water, 50-amp electric, and sewer hookups to more basic sites. The 20-mile-long Lake Chicot, formed centuries ago when the Mississippi River changed course, provides excellent fishing year-round for bass, crappie, catfish, and bream. The park's location in one of the largest migratory flyways in the country makes it exceptional for birdwatching. The on-site marina offers boat rentals including fishing boats, kayaks, and personal watercraft, plus a launch ramp for visitors bringing their own boats. A park store provides supplies, bait, and fuel. The campground includes modern restrooms open year-round, and a seasonal swimming pool available on weekends. With lake and levee tours, interpretive programs available year-round, and the Delta Woodlands Trail for hiking, Lake Chicot State Park Campground offers a complete outdoor experience in the Arkansas Delta. The park's pavilions accommodate group gatherings, and bicycles are available for rent to explore the scenic surroundings.

Take Hwy. 144 from U.S. 65 at Lake Village and drive eight miles northeast to the park; OR, take Hwy. 257 from U.S. 65 southeast 4 miles to Hwy. 144, follow it northeast 5 miles to the park.
