Crowley's Ridge State Park Campground sits atop one of the most geologically unusual landforms in the central United States. Crowley's Ridge is a narrow strip of windblown loess hills rising 200 feet above the surrounding Mississippi Delta floodplain, supporting tulip trees, beech, and other flora typically found much farther east. The CCC-built park preserves this distinctive ecosystem and offers year-round camping for tent and RV campers alike. The campground consists of 26 sites: 18 Class B sites equipped with 30-amp electric and water hookups on paved pads, and 8 tent-only sites with access to shared water spigots. Every site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and grill grate. A centralized bathhouse serves all campers with flush toilets and hot showers, and an RV dump station is on site. Beyond camping, the park features a 31-acre fishing lake stocked with bass, catfish, and bream, plus kayak rentals. The 3.5-acre swimming beach operates seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hiking trails wind through the hardwood forest, and picnic pavilions, a playground, basketball court, and amphitheater round out the facilities.
