About
Nestled on the banks of the Nestucca River in Oregon's coastal mountain range, Rocky Bend Group Campground provides an ideal setting for family gatherings and group events. Located 15 miles east of Beaver along the scenic Upper Nestucca River Road, this single group site can accommodate up to 50 people with sufficient parking for 2-3 recreational vehicles or trailers and 3-5 passenger vehicles. The campground features five picnic tables, a large 4-foot diameter fire ring, a vault toilet, and garbage service. There is no potable water on site, so campers must bring their own supply. The site is unstaffed and secured behind a locked gate; after booking through Recreation.gov, guests receive a gate code via email. Recreation opportunities abound in the surrounding area. Anglers enjoy casting into the Nestucca River for steelhead and salmon during open fishing season. The nearby Niagara Falls Trail winds through lush foliage to views of two stunning 100-foot waterfalls: Niagara Falls and Pheasant Creek Falls. The campground sits along the Nestucca Country Scenic Byway, offering beautiful drives through Oregon's Coast Range.
