Rio de las Vacas Campground is a stunning oasis located two hours from Albuquerque, surrounded by the Jemez Mountains and ponderosa pines. It features 15 campsites with a host, paved RV pads, fire rings, picnic tables, and tent pads. Visitors can enjoy fishing and hiking opportunities, as well as migratory birds and elk bugling during the fall. The nearby San Pedro Parks Wilderness offers an array of trails and activities for all levels of experience.
