About

Clear Creek Group Campground sits in the cool, pine-covered Jemez Mountains of Santa Fe National Forest, less than two hours from Albuquerque. The single group site can host up to 35 people and includes a 40-foot diameter shelter with picnic tables, a stand-up grill, vault toilet, and parking for up to 5 vehicles plus one bus or RV. The campground allows 3 tent pads and 2 RV/trailer camping units. The surrounding area offers excellent recreation opportunities. Local streams and San Gregorio Reservoir provide fishing, while the nearby San Pedro Parks Wilderness features scenic day hikes with minimal elevation gain, ideal for both beginner and experienced backpackers. Three main trailheads (San Gregorio, Palomas, and Los Pinos) are within driving distance. Wildlife in the area includes black bears, mule deer, elk, and numerous bird species. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 PM to 7 AM, and no ATV/UTV/ORV use is permitted in the campground.
