About

Silver Creek Campground is a well-developed Forest Service campground located in Peace Valley within Boise National Forest at an elevation of 4,490 feet. The campground features 57 individual sites spread across four loops (Upper Peace Creek, Lower Peace Creek, Valley Creek) plus two reservable group sites (Lodgepole Springs for up to 100 people and Cabin Creek for up to 80). Sites are nestled among lodgepole pines providing partial shade, with Silver Creek flowing alongside the grounds. Individual sites operate first-come, first-served with registration at the nearby Silver Creek Plunge General Store. Each site includes a tent pad, picnic table, utility table, and fire ring with paved roads and parking spurs throughout. The campground can accommodate RVs up to 50 feet and offers accessible vault toilets and potable water. All sites are ADA accessible. Peace Valley serves as a hub for outdoor recreation with Peace Creek Trail, Silver Creek Summit Trail, and Bull Creek Trail beginning nearby. The area supports hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and OHV use. Anglers find good-to-excellent fishing for rainbow trout and whitefish in the surrounding waterways. Silver Creek Plunge, a privately operated hot springs with a pool and general store, sits within a quarter-mile of the campground.
