About

Trail Creek Campground is one of five campgrounds along the Middle Fork Payette River corridor in the Boise National Forest. Located at approximately 3,600 feet elevation, the campground provides partial shade under Douglas fir and lodgepole pine trees along the riverbank. The campground was reconstructed in 1998. All 11 sites include picnic tables, grills, and fire pits. The campground can accommodate RVs up to 35 feet in length. Vault toilets are available on site. This is a pack-it-out facility with no trash service or electrical hookups. The Middle Fork Payette River provides year-round fishing opportunities for whitefish and rainbow trout. Nearby trails including One Spoon Trail, Rattlesnake Trail, and 465 ATV Trail offer options for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and OHV use. In-season hunting for deer, elk, and bear is popular in the surrounding mountains.
