Curlew Campground is located in the Curlew National Grassland, seven miles north of Snowville, Utah and is surrounded by open desert environment and great areas for birding. It offers one large group site and several single sites, each equipped with tables, campfire rings and grills, as well as a variety of amenities such as a picnic shelter, grills, campfire rings, drinking water spigot and accessible vault toilets.
Stone Reservoir is closed to all motor crafts, boats and water crafts do to invasive spieces.
The surrounding area is crisscrossed by numerous off-road vehicle trails. Horseback riding is allowed on the open range.
