Picnic Point Campground offers a tranquil escape in northern Wisconsin with its rustic atmosphere. Its large group campsite can accommodate up to 35 people, providing access to a boat ramp into the 411-acre Mondeaux Flowage, where visitors can swim and fish. The campground is also near the 1,200-mile Ice Age National Scenic Trail and the city of Medford.
The campground offers one large group campsite for tent camping only. The site can accommodate up to 35 people. Reservations can only be made for the whole campground. If the campground is not reserved, then individual sites can be taken on a first come, first served basis.
The site is equipped with multiple tables and campfire rings with grills. Vault toilets are provided. The campground does not provide trash collection and visitors are required to pack out all garbage. Drinking water is not available on site, however, it is available at Glacial Springs or Westpoint Campground.
