Ruark Bluff East campground sits on the shores of Stockton Lake in the scenic Ozark Mountains of southwestern Missouri. The lake offers nearly 300 miles of shoreline for recreation, with excellent fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, white bass, walleye, and catfish. Sailboating is particularly popular, with the lake hosting several races each year. The campground features 91 sites including standard electric sites with 30-amp hookups, standard nonelectric sites, walk-to tent sites, and a group camping area (Mutton Creek Group Camp) that accommodates up to 80 people. Amenities include two shower houses with flush toilets, a dump station, swimming beach, playground, and an accessible fishing dock and picnic area. A boat ramp and beach are conveniently located just outside the campground entrance. The Stockton Lake Equestrian Trail extends approximately 15 miles between Hawker Point and Orleans Trail Campgrounds for those interested in horseback riding. The surrounding landscape features native prairie grasses, rolling hills, and hardwood forests that turn crimson in autumn. Wildlife includes wild turkey, deer, great blue heron, and bald eagles, with annual eagle-watching events during winter months.

From Greenfield, Missouri, take State Highway H north for 6.4 miles and turn right onto the park access road. Follow signs into the park area.
