Piper Island Cabin is a remote site accessible by boat or floatplane off the coast of Sitka, Alaska. This modified A-frame cabin was built in 1994 and offers beachcombing, wildlife viewing, saltwater fishing, and seasonal deer hunting. Visitors must bring their own amenities and supplies, including fuel, sleeping bags, cooking utensils, and water. The mooring buoy is open on a first-come, first-served basis. Bears frequent the area.
