Crescent Saddle Cabin is a secluded spot in the Kenai Mountains of southeastern Alaska, reachable by hiking, skiing, snowmobile and floatplane. It is ideal for fishing grayling, and in season, hunting for moose, black and brown bears and Dall sheep. The cabin offers bunk space for six, a wood stove for heat, and an outhouse. However, visitors must bring their own amenities, including sleeping bags, cook stove and food. The cabin overlooks Crescent Lake and visitors should prepare for both avalanche danger and high winds.
