* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following areas, Orange County Coastal Areas, Orange County Inland Areas, San Bernardino County Mountains, San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys-The Inland Empire and Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A warm low pressure system from the southwest will bring periods of moderate to locally heavy precipitation tonight through Thursday evening. The heaviest showers are likely to occur Thursday morning. About

Heart Bar Equestrian Campground serves as a dedicated equestrian facility in the San Bernardino National Forest, situated at 6,880 feet elevation in the pine-covered mountains of Southern California. The campground is exclusively for campers with horses and provides 46 corrals along with group camping facilities that accommodate up to 65 people. The location offers access to some of the region's finest backcountry horseback riding trails while maintaining a remote and secluded atmosphere despite its relative proximity to Big Bear Lake. The campground serves as a gateway to exceptional riding opportunities, including the renowned Santa Ana River Trail, which also welcomes hikers and mountain bikers for miles of scenic mountain exploration. The Wildhorse Creek Trail begins just north of the campground and traverses 5 miles of rolling terrain, climbing nearly 1,100 feet to reach remote camping areas south of Wildhorse Meadow. Creek fishing is available in nearby waterways, and the campground sits near the Sand to Snow National Monument. The facility is located approximately 35 miles northeast of San Bernardino via Highway 38 and Forest Route 1N02, about 20 miles from Big Bear Lake and its associated amenities including dining, shopping, and water recreation.

Directions

From I-10 in San Bernardino, take the Alabama exit in Redlands to Lugonia Avenue (Highway 38). Travel northeast on Highway 38 for approximately 30 miles to Forest Route 1N02. Continue less than a mile to the campground.
