Temporary Closure on Forest Road 133

A section of Forest Road 133, containing a bridge, is anticipated to be temporarily closed to through traffic from January 19 through January 20, 2026. This temporary closure, near Ludlow, is necessary to collect soil samples and data.

Use of Bicycles on the Allegheny National Forest

Northern Goshawks are Protected Endangered Species

Northern goshawks are listed as endangered species in Pennsylvania.  It is unlawful under the Pennsylvania Game and Wildlife Code for anyone, including permitted falconers, to take a northern goshawk from the wild for any purpose.
